Key dates

  1. Early in-person voting

    Tuesday, October 6 to Sunday, November 1, 2026

    Vote at your county board of elections or its early vote center. Hours change by day and include Saturday, October 24, Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1.

  2. Absentee ballot application deadline

    Tuesday, October 27, 2026, by 8:30 p.m.

    Your county board of elections must receive your signed application by 8:30 p.m. You can fill it out online, but you must print, sign, and mail or hand-deliver it.

  3. Election Day poll hours

    Tuesday, November 3, 2026, 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

    If you are in line by 7:30 p.m., you have the right to vote.

  4. Absentee ballot return deadline

    Tuesday, November 3, 2026, by 7:30 p.m.

    Mailed ballots must arrive by 7:30 p.m., so mail yours early, or return it in person to your county board of elections or its drop box.
